FOSA (PTA)

Charity no: 802151

Friends of Oakhill School Association (FOSA) is a dynamic and dedicated group of parents, teachers, and community members committed to enhancing the educational experience within our school community. As Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), our aim is to support and enrich the academic, social, and extra-curricular aspects of our school, creating a nurturing and thriving environment for all the children. Through various fundraisers, volunteer initiatives and collaborative efforts, FOSA strives to build a vibrant and inclusive community where every child can reach their full potential, whilst having fun along the way.

Join us in making a positive impact on our school and shaping the future memories of our children. Together, we can achieve great things!

How can you help?

We completely get it – life can get pretty hectic, and the thought of becoming a part of our PTA might seem like a big step. However, we want to assure you that it doesn't have to be overwhelming at all. We firmly believe that when we all pitch in a little, it makes a big difference. Your involvement can be as simple as occasionally chipping in, sharing a corporate sponsorship, or lending your professional skills. There are countless ways you can contribute that won't take up too much of your time but will be immensely valuable.  If you're even slightly interested in helping out, we'd be thrilled to have you on board! Just take a moment to complete this friendly Google form, and let's make a positive impact together. 😊

Fundraising

This year fundraising includes continued development of the sensory garden, Year 6 leavers’  celebrations, classroom Christmas presents and an anti-bullying workshop.

There will be plenty of other opportunities throughout the year for FOSA to support.

Easyfundraising.org.uk

Easyfundraising.org.uk gives FOSA money every time you shop online. This can be done by being directed to the website via a tab or app. You can also have it set to notify you if the website is eligible for fundraising, so with 1 click and your normal shopping FOSA can raise money. Last year we made over £1100 with just 95 supporters, imagine what we could do if everyone joined! You can sign up with this QR code or on the website (Please see Newsletter February 2024 for QR code)

Equipment Hire

For a small charge, FOSA hires out children’s party packs, tea party tea sets and a chocolate fountain. Please contact a member of FOSA or the class reps.
